Surround Yourself discovers and connects indie artists with indie shoppers. Each week, Surround Yourself highlights a new artist offering a giveaway. Visitors enter the giveaway by filling out a simple form and are required to click through to the weekly featured artists’ website and choose and document their favorite item from the shop in their entry. This encourages the visitor to spend some time on the featured artists’ site and enjoy the full body of work offered instead of just entering an email address to receive a freebie. At the end of the week, a drawing will be held and a winner chosen. The featured artist is responsible for fulfilling the giveaway and Surround Yourself in return will provide a document including all of the “favorited items” from the week.

BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATING :

• Your bio, artist statement, logo, shop and artwork featured on the front page of the Surround Yourself website for 1 full week.
• It is absolutely free to be a part of this project other than offering a giveaway.
• You become a permanent addition to the Surround Yourself archives.
• A newsletter featuring your giveaway will go out during your week to a list of over 1000 newsletter subscribers, growing daily.
• In order for visitors to enter the giveaway, they must visit the featured artists' web shop.
• Featured on the Surround Yourself Facebook Fan Page
• Twittered from 2 accounts, blogged and pimped.
• Option to offer a coupon in the weekly newsletter.
